For example, if you have three books to offload you&#8217;ll probably make more by selling them individually than by selling them to a bulk buyer, as long as you don&#8217;t end up having to pay fees for non-selling items.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are your main options?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Amazon Marketplace<\/li>\n<li>eBay<\/li>\n<li>eBid<\/li>\n<li>Free classified ads: Gumtree, Craigslist, Preloved, local paper, local facebook group etc<\/li>\n<li>Games exchanges (Grainger, CeX, Game + a bit of haggling)<\/li>\n<li>Mobile phone sales sites (eBay, or find the best deal via comparemymobile.com or sellmymobile.com comparison sites)<\/li>\n<li>Clothing marketplaces (e.g. Vinted app)<\/li>\n<li>Sell to friends and family, or coworkers etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you only have three things to sell, don&#8217;t even think about about bulk selling options or doing a car boot sale!<\/p>\n<p>This does mean you will have more time per item to create a catchy, detailed listing, and in turn this small investment of effort could well get you a better sale price if you&#8217;re using an auction-style sale.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re selling on eBay (which is still the best option for many things, in spite of the hike in final fees and PayPal fees), then do a 1-week listing today so that it ends next Sunday afternoon or evening. This time of the week will get you the most people bidding and if you&#8217;re lucky there might even be a mini price-war among the buyers.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>What are you going to sell? How \/ where are you going to get the best price?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s happening here?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m looking forward to a quiet, relaxed Sunday evening, after a week of being out and about, and having visitors to stay. The plan is to have a &#8216;deli dinner&#8217; which is basically what we call cold cuts, bits of cheese, salad etc, to use things up and also to have a break from cooking. We&#8217;re probably going to go out for a walk as well, if the weather&#8217;s nice, and try to have a no-spend day to round off the week.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll let you know tomorrow what the final Tenner Week tally is.
