Hi again – want to make some extra cash? My Make Money Challenge<\/strong><\/a> is now in Week Four, and I’m making some more progress toward my goal of funding a new laptop.<\/p>\n

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed that there was no article for week three. That’s just because I was a bit busy last week and this week, and didn’t have too much to report just then.<\/p>\n

With pretty much all money-making schemes, it really is a case of effort in >> results out, and hopefully from next week onwards I’ll have a little more time to devote to this fund raising challenge. All those ‘make money fast with no effort’ things on the internet are dodgy anyway. Well that’s what I keep telling myself.<\/p>\n

Here’s a quick update for you…<\/p>\n

1. eBay<\/strong> – Sold a couple of items, including a second hand summer jacket (top tip – best not to sell out of season items on eBay if you can help it, you don’t usually get a good price, I was just lucky). Allowing for postage and fees, it came to \u00a37.10 profit which was more than I was expecting.<\/p>\n

2. Books – sold one on eBay, but still considering other options.<\/p>\n

3. TopCashback<\/strong> – Had a payout of \u00a34.54 from challenge-related activities. Very quick, and not very much work was involved. There’s more on the way too, but I’m not counting that until it’s in my bank account.<\/p>\n

4. Qmee<\/strong> – After complaining that it wasn’t showing up any deals during searches, they’ve started popping up again. Cashed out 22p immediately via PayPal, and have a bit more left to claim in the next few days.<\/p>\n

5. Swagbucks<\/strong> – Seems to be quite low paying for the sheer amount of work involved, and I don’t really have a spare hour each day to use the site so I’m never going to get any of their bonuses for 30-day attendance etc. This is going very much on the back burner as there are more efficient ways to raise cash in a short period of time. Might work for other people who are at home more though, so haven’t written it off just yet.<\/p>\n

6. Apps – not had time to do any of these, due to not having much free time. Maybe review these in the next week or so.<\/p>\n

In total I’ve made \u00a332.83 so far, and am looking forward to devoting some more time and effort to it soon.<\/p>\n
