If you can\u2019t eat them right away, think of other ways to avoid waste such as freezing them.<\/p>\n<p>To make the most of leftovers, try\u00a0the <strong>LoveFoodHateWaste<\/strong> website for inspiration and information. If you prefer apps, try the leftovers recipes and ideas on the LoveFoodHateWaste app, or the Love Your Leftovers app.<\/p>\n<p>Next, look at your diary, and work out when you\u2019ll be out in the evening, coming home late from work, or taking it easy with time on your hands.\u00a0Sketch out a menu for the week, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Breakfasts<\/li>\n<li>Lunches<\/li>\n<li>Dinners<\/li>\n<li>Snacks<\/li>\n<li>Drinks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If possible, try to include five portions of vegetables or fruits each day as well.
