Various experts are once again suggesting that we’re in for a double-dip recession. Oh joy. Even if that does not come to pass, we still have the VAT rise to contend with, and job uncertainty and many other undelightful things to keep in mind.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With all of this going on, do we still have time for romance? (Hell yes, I do – but it’s not something I’m putting on my credit card.)<\/p>\n

Valentine’s day is looming, so maybe now’s a good time to think about a few romantic gifts before the sales finish and the rush begins. First of all, it’s the thought that counts, so maybe aim for small and thoughtful presents rather than something flashy and overpriced.<\/p>\n
