It’s nearly time to shake off that sluggish post-festive feeling and get cracking on some New Year projects for 2017! Join me for a great big January Jump Start, with something new to try every day – think of each one as a daily mini one-off resolution to build up into a big beautiful sense of progress over the course of the month.<\/p>\n

The theme this year is ‘Shake off the 2016 hangover & TAKE ON 2017!’<\/strong>, and I’m really excited to wave off the past year and get started on tackling loads of new projects. That includes setting new habits, breaking old habits, and deciding upon a variety of short term and long term aims and goals, all turning wishful thinking into more concrete achievements.<\/p>\n

The January Jump Start schedule is designed to help you hit the ground running for the rest of the year, with a different theme each week to shake it up. It’s also a chance to try out lots of different ideas, resources and techniques to see which ones work best for you.<\/p>\n

Schedule for Jump Start January 2017<\/h1>\n

Here’s what’s coming up during the Challenge. Feel free to join in with the whole thing, or you can pick out individual weeks that appeal to you the most if you’re pushed for time.<\/p>\n

Speaking of being busy, the tasks are easiest if you do one each day but life sometimes gets in the way, doesn’t it? If you miss a day here or there then don’t worry because the daily activities are designed to fit together, so you can catch up on them at the weekend instead if you need to.<\/p>\n

Week 1: Money-saving powerhouse week<\/a><\/h2>\n

Lots of quick wins to help you save serious amounts of money. Get ready to take stock, set achievable goals, realign your priorities, slash those bills and break a few bad financial habits.<\/p>\n

Week 2: Happiness boosters week<\/a><\/h2>\n

Proven techniques for boosting long term and short term happiness, and creating a sense of comfort and wellbeing. No random motivational quotes, no mumbo jumbo, just tried and tested activities that make life more enjoyable and fulfilling.<\/p>\n

Week 3: Tenner Week challenge<\/a><\/h2>\n

Can you make \u00a310 last for seven days?<\/p>\n

The week before most of us get paid in January can be a tough one financially, so let’s try some extreme budgeting. The theme this time around is ‘Find a Freebie<\/strong>‘, so expect something new and free to try every day.<\/p>\n

Week 4: Declutter and make money week<\/a><\/h2>\n

The spring cleaning starts early in 2017 with a post-Christmas declutter. Streamline and organise your home, profit from your old junk, and maybe find yourself a new side hustle or some extra cash.<\/p>\n

Last few days<\/h2>\n

The 29th, 30th and 31st of January will be devoted to deciding what worked the best for you during the Jump Start Challenge, and deciding how to take things forward for the rest of the year.<\/p>\n
