Some of us travel miles to and from work, others work from home, so we need a level playing field.<\/p>\n<p>You get bonus points for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Using things up that you already have<\/li>\n<li>Mending or altering something<\/li>\n<li>Keeping fit<\/li>\n<li>Doing something relaxing<\/li>\n<li>Keeping in touch with friends<\/li>\n<li>Finding a freebie<\/li>\n<li>Learning something new<\/li>\n<li>Being creative<\/li>\n<li>Having 1 or 2 days where you spend nothing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The last Tenner Week I did, the money went on coffee with friends, a tip for the waitress, a pair of socks and some art materials. Everything I ate at home was out of cupboards, left over in the fridge, or hanging around in the freezer. I also called in a few favours (a couple of people owed me dinner and drinks). No idea what it\u2019s going to be like this time around.
