I bought the best value carton rather than the cheapest, and spent \u00a31. Not really my cup of tea, although it was fairly realistic with the gore, and I found it a wee bit on the pretentious side. Guess I knew too many people at university who wouldn&#8217;t shut up about The Wicker Man. So that was my movie for the week, and I&#8217;ve run out of telly.<\/p>\n<p>Dinner was good though. We had baked fish and chips and lots of mixed vegetables, washed down with a nice bottle of sparkling wine that we got free with the other wine we bought before Christmas. I saved a glass to cook with tomorrow as well. Seeing as it was the weekend I made some dessert too: pineapple slices and glace cherries grilled with Cointreau and brown sugar. Quite a 70s throwback but tasty all the same, and one of your five a day. Shame we didn&#8217;t have any ice cream to go with it.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow is my last day of Tenner Week, and I have \u00a34 to go crazy with. Decisions, decisions&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you have anything left out of your original tenner?
