It&#8217;s completely optional, but if you spend a few minutes running through it today then it&#8217;ll save you lots of time during the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to get a headstart on this particular Tenner Week Challenge, let&#8217;s go. It&#8217;s broken down into three simple sections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A food and drink stocktake<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A &#8216;keep yourself entertained&#8217; stocktake<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A short &#8216;Claw it Back&#8217; checklist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Food &amp; drink Sunday Stocktake<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This Sunday, have a really good look around for any food and drink you already have. Making the most of it means fewer trips to the shops, and more left in your budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where to look:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The fridge, including the contents of the fridge door and the salad drawer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The freezer (may also include unidentified or unlabelled items \u2013 try to work out what they are, and how long they\u2019ve been in there)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Food cupboards and shelves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fruit bowls, kitchen baskets and vegetable trolleys<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bread bin or bread crock<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biscuit tin or biscuit barrel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other worktop canisters: tea, coffee, sugar and more<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Baking box<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Herbs, spices, sauces and condiments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stack of soft drinks or beers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wine rack<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drinks cabinet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stores in the cupboard under the stairs, garage or shed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secret chocolate stash or snack box<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vouchers for free food or drink (if you don\u2019t have to spend to get the freebie)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s helpful to write it down somewhere, and make a note of entertained&#8217; stocktake<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, have a look around your home for a quick \u2018keep yourself entertained\u2019 stocktake.
