All you have to do is set aside an hour for relaxing and slowing down the pace.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s completely up to you what you do, but you could:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Change into your PJs an hour earlier than usual<\/li>\n<li>Listen to relaxing music and put your feet up<\/li>\n<li>Do some meditation or use a relaxation app or MP3<\/li>\n<li>Have a nice long bubble bath with candles<\/li>\n<li>Go to bed early and catch up on lost sleep<\/li>\n<li>Switch off your phone, tablet, computer etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What&#8217;s happening here<\/h2>\n<p>Today I&#8217;m planning on completely redecorating the kitchen. Masking tape and two coats of paint. This is not the most exciting way to spend your weekend, granted, but I&#8217;ve run out of TV time and most of my cash and I did go out four evenings during the week&#8230; Also, I&#8217;ve been putting it off for ages and it&#8217;s high time the project got finished.<\/p>\n<p>After that I&#8217;m going to have bangers and mash for dinner (not very summery but it&#8217;s about all we have left in the house), then soak my weary bones in the tub, using all the stuff I keep for best but should be using up. Then it&#8217;s time for an early night, and frankly I expect that&#8217;s all I&#8217;ll be good for &#8211; decorating tends to turn me into an exhausted gibbering wreck at the best of times.<\/p>\n<p>To sum up, it&#8217;s been an excellent week for freebie events, and I&#8217;ve managed to get back into the habit of carrying snacks with me when I go out instead of buying expensive food. It&#8217;s also been good to get away from the gogglebox and get the house sorted out &#8211; there are too many excuses not to do things when you&#8217;re glued to the telly, but the TV diet helps to break the apathy.<\/p>\n<p>June is a good time to do a Tenner Week if you have a kitchen garden or allotment. This time around we&#8217;ve feasted on strawberries, rhubarb, cherries, lettuce, rocket, turnips, spinach and sweet peppers.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Total TV watched<\/em><\/strong>: 4 hours (including an episode of Hannibal last night)<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Total cash spent<\/strong><\/em>: \u00a37.65<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>How did you get on this week?
